Supporting Belonging: AIL Gives Back to J.S. Bryant School

At Amherst Innovative Living, we believe strong communities start with spaces where people feel welcomed, valued, and supported. That’s why we selected the J.S. Bryant School as our Nonprofit of the Month and contributed $500 to support its mission.

Located in Cummington, Massachusetts, J.S. Bryant School is a nonprofit therapeutic day school dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ teens. The school combines experiential learning with wellness support, creating an environment where students can learn, build confidence, and express their authentic selves.

Through small classes, hands-on projects, the arts, and connections to nature, J.S. Bryant School takes a thoughtful approach to education. Its programs serve students who may have struggled to find belonging in other settings, bringing academic learning and therapeutic support together throughout the school day.

The school’s focus on belonging resonates with our team. Everyone deserves the opportunity to feel connected to their community and supported as they grow. We’re proud to contribute to an organization working to make that possible for young people in Western Massachusetts.

Through our Nonprofit of the Month initiative, we highlight organizations making a difference in our region and encourage our residents, team members, and neighbors to learn more about their work. Our $500 donation to J.S. Bryant School is one way we can help support that work while sharing its mission with our community.
