Bagels & Better Mornings: A Foodie Friday Favorite

A few weeks ago, our residential lobbies got a delicious upgrade with another Foodie Friday - this time featuring Bruegger's Bagels. Residents were welcomed with grab-and-go bagels, a variety of cream cheese options, and egg sandwiches that made for the perfect start to the day.

From the moment everything was set out, it didn’t take long for the space to fill with people grabbing breakfast, chatting with neighbors, and easing into their morning. Some stopped by on their way out the door, while others lingered a little longer - catching up with friends or meeting someone new. It’s always fun to see how something as simple as good food can naturally bring people together, and this event did exactly that.

Bruegger’s Bagels brought more than just breakfast - they brought a tradition. Since opening their first location in Troy, New York in 1983, they’ve been known for their authentic New York–style bagels, crafted through a process perfected alongside a professional bagel baker. Decades later, that same commitment to quality still shows up in every bite - from the classic flavors to the fresh, satisfying texture that keeps people coming back.

Beyond the food itself, events like Foodie Friday continue to create small but meaningful moments for our residents. They offer a chance to pause, connect, and enjoy something special in the middle of a busy routine. Whether it’s trying a new flavor, starting a conversation, or simply not having to think about breakfast for the day, these gatherings add an extra layer of care and community to everyday living.

If you missed this one, don’t worry - there’s always more to come. We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to bring people together in a fresh and fun way!
