Late-Night Cravings, Delivered Early: Foodie Friday with Insomnia Cookies

Sometimes the best kind of Friday is the one that smells like fresh-baked cookies the moment you walk through the door - and that’s exactly what residents experienced at this month’s Foodie Friday.

AIL brought the sweetness straight to the lobby with free treats from Insomnia Cookies, creating a simple (but very appreciated) moment for residents to grab a snack, connect, and kick off their weekend on a high note.

The lineup didn’t disappoint. Residents got to choose from a variety of classic favorites, including chocolate chunk, double chocolate chunk, snickerdoodle, white chocolate macadamia, and even a vegan gluten-free chocolate chip option - because no one should have to miss out on cookie day.

What makes Insomnia Cookies such a fun feature for an event like this is the story behind it. The brand actually started with a college student who just wanted warm cookies delivered late at night - and instead of settling for what was available, he created something entirely new. That same idea - meeting people where they are and making life a little sweeter - is exactly what made this Foodie Friday such a hit.

Events like this may be small, but they go a long way. Whether residents stopped by for a quick treat or stayed to chat with neighbors, it was another opportunity to build community in a way that feels easy and fun (and honestly, who doesn’t bond over cookies?).
