Unwind & Win: A Community Raffle Designed for Relaxation

Recently, we hosted a fun and simple raffle designed to encourage our community to pause, reflect, and share how they like to unwind. With just a quick Google Form entry, participants had the chance to win a prize while also offering a glimpse into the small, meaningful ways people recharge in their daily lives.

To enter, individuals were invited to share their favorite way to relax—whether that meant a quiet night in, a creative hobby, or time spent with others. Each entry was entered into a drawing for one of two thoughtfully curated raffle baskets. One option featured a creative night out, including a gift card to Claymates, where the winner could choose a piece of pottery and enjoy painting it at their own pace. Claymates is a locally owned pottery studio known for being a welcoming, low-pressure space where people of all ages can explore their creativity, gather with others, and create something meaningful to take home. The other option offered a cozy movie night experience, complete with a gift card to Cinemark at Hampshire Mall XD and a selection of treats to make the evening extra special.

This raffle was more than just a giveaway—it was a reminder of the importance of rest and creativity in our busy lives. By inviting people to think about how they unwind, it created a moment of connection and reflection, while also celebrating the value of slowing down.

We loved seeing the responses come in and hearing the different ways people find rest and joy. It was a small but meaningful way to engage with our community and offer something fun in return.
