Sending Cheer, One Card at a Time

The spirit of giving was in full swing at One East Pleasant and Olympia Place during our Cards for the Holidays event, which ran from December 9th to 15th. Throughout the week, residents had the opportunity to send a little warmth to friends and loved ones—and we provided the postage!

The setup was simple and sweet: choose a festive card, write your personalized message, address the envelope, and drop it into the holiday card dropbox in the lobby. From there, we took care of the rest! Every card submitted was mailed out the following day, just in time to spread some seasonal cheer.

There was something extra heartwarming about seeing the dropbox fill up over the week with handwritten notes, heartfelt wishes, and carefully addressed envelopes heading to destinations near and far. It was a small but meaningful way to stay connected with loved ones during the holiday season, especially for those who couldn’t be home in person.

Events like this reflect our commitment to building a community that values thoughtfulness, connection, and care—especially during this cozy, reflective time of year.
