Celebrating Community & Sustainability
We had the joy of joining hundreds of neighbors, families, students, and vendors on the Amherst Town Common for the 13th Annual Amherst Sustainability Festival. After a brief weather delay, the festival made a triumphant return on May 10, bringing with it a full day of music, creativity, learning, and eco-friendly fun.
As one of this year’s proud sponsors, Amherst Innovative Living was thrilled to support this celebration of local connection and environmental stewardship. Community and sustainability are at the heart of everything we do, so it was an honor to help bring this inspiring day to life.
Festival Highlights:
🌎 Over 60 environmental vendors and organizations filled the Common, sharing everything from clean energy solutions to locally made crafts and sustainable living tips.
🎶 The stage stayed busy all day with live music performances from The Dave Bulley Band, Rockin’ Ron the Friendly Pirate, Asher Kai, and more.
🛠️ Hands-on workshops and demonstrations gave attendees a chance to learn something new, from mending clothes with Swanson’s Fabrics to exploring wellbeing and equity with local groups.
🚲 We loved seeing sustainable transportation in action with electric vehicle test drives, ValleyBike share info, and a special look at the state’s first hybrid fire truck.
🎡 And of course, family favorites like Henry the Juggler, the Orbitron ride, and face painting added an extra layer of fun for attendees of all ages.
Why We Showed Up
At Amherst Innovative Living, we’re committed to building spaces that reflect the values of the community around us—sustainability, creativity, and connection. Supporting the Amherst Sustainability Festival was a natural fit. It gave us the opportunity not only to sponsor an event aligned with our mission but to meet and engage with so many of you in person.
Thank you to the Town of Amherst, all the vendors and performers, and everyone who came out to make this day such a success. We were proud to be a part of it and look forward to more ways to connect and collaborate with our community.
