Small Donations, Big Impact: AIL Supports Record-Breaking Diaper Drive

At Amherst Innovative Living, we believe supporting our community means helping our neighbors meet everyday needs. This August, we were proud to contribute to the United Way of Franklin and Hampshire County’s 2026 Diaper Drive, collecting donations to help local families access essential supplies.

Across the entire community-wide drive, donors contributed more than 129,000 diapers and pull-ups and over 18,000 wipes, making this United Way’s most successful August Diaper Drive yet! Our collection was part of that larger effort, bringing together individuals, businesses, and organizations to make a meaningful difference for families in our region.

These donations help keep United Way’s diaper bank stocked and ready to serve families. United Way shared that this year’s collection should allow the diaper bank to continue operating as usual regardless of potential federal funding changes, providing an important source of support for families who depend on it.

We extend a sincere thank-you to everyone who contributed to our collection and helped spread the word. We’re proud to be part of a community that shows up for its neighbors, and this year’s results demonstrate how individual acts of generosity can add up to an extraordinary impact.

We also join United Way in recognizing the drive’s sponsors: Greenfield Savings Bank, Florence Bank, Greenfield Northampton Cooperative Bank, Country Bank, The Daily Hampshire Gazette, and The Greenfield Recorder, along with Northampton Media Group for helping spread the word.

Thank you for helping us support local families—one diaper at a time!
